Elmhurst Park District
Adopt-A-Park

The club is an active participant helping to
encourage the community to work hands-on to
help keep Elmhurst’s parks clean, safe and
attractive through debris pick-up and landscape
suggestions. The club has adopted The Wilder
Park in Elmhurst and provides volunteers to
enhance and maintain the gardens.

PLANT RESCUE

The club works with local contractors or
homeowners to rescue plants that would
otherwise be wiped out due to new or existing
home construction. Armed with buckets &
shovels, members work together to find new
homes for the rescued plants at our annual sale.
